Hi all hope everyone is feeling ok after Christmas. In my mind I feel I have been in remission since last summer but my consultant says not lol. But I have to say was feeling really well with limited flare ups best summer ive had for a few years. Well Christmas has been and gone and a new year has begun would love to say its started well but the pain is back again. Have had a booster of steroid that has helped but aches are creeping back but I shall not let it beat me. Hope everyone is all ok and are starting the new year off in a good positive way.

It's really great when you have a period of respite and you begin to wonder if the doctor's have got it wrong. The steroid injections are great at giving relief as I've experienced a few times too, at least it gives you a break and a chance to become a bit stronger. I hope your aches and pains ease soon. x

Hi there petalnumber2 very true the steroids have deff been a friend to me in the past and more so this last week. I am glad to have had that rest from the pain and to have felt normal despite it being short lived. xxx take carexx

Hi buzzy pants

Glad to hear you had a good summer. I've just had some steroids too so joints ok but really bothered by palpitations. I've told Rheumy and gp about them a few times but today I went to see our lovely nurse practitioner. She could see they were getting me down. She wants me to have bloods and an ecg this week so I've booked in for wed. Then I got a call from my Rheumy dpt and they want me to go see go about palpitations! Lol in hand I said. They want to find the cause ( finally! ) before I have any more IV rituximab.

It would be wonderful if they would go away.

If you are starting to get sore joints again maybe it's time to contact your Rheumy? Are you on demands?

It's a lovely day here, although very windy. Hope the sun is shining where you are.

Take care

Kikideelili hello to you sorry to hear of your troubles with palpitations its a worry for you but I am sure that they will get to the bottom of things. I have had various medications over the last few years and I am currently taking humira and its been a godsend I feel so much better I also take pain killers and anti inflammatory medication to. I still work and keep active it wont get the better of me. Please let me know how you get on xxx take carexx
