I've always had vivid dreams, I've been taking Hydroxy now for just over two years. I can't say that they've made the dreaming worse. I do find that the more stressed I'am the worse they become.

I take one in the morning & one in the evening. x

I have the most vivid dreams too and I take Hydroxy AM and PM. They are usually quite violent and the type where you can't make your phone work or someones coming into the house and you can't escape!!

I've lost track of the number of times I've woken up with my heart pumping, and because they are so vivid I'm often convinced they're real!

You made me think back. I had 3 joints injected over a 2 week period and increased hydroxy to alternate 200 and 400 daily. I had assumed it was the steroid as I was waking up desperate for the toilet and dreaming that I was at one of my boys house or ours and the dreams ended with me sat on the 'dream' toilet and even wet myself a couple of times. I had to reduce the hydroxy to 200mg daily due to blood issues soon after so put it down to the steroid but probably a combination of both. Sorry not much help to you but at least you know you are not suffering on your own with this. Farm

I was always told that you can control your dreams if you set the seen in your minds eye first that's what I once read in a dream directory book if in a dream you remind yourself you are dreaming you can take control

Hi thank you for taking the time to write something its definAtely worth a try Happy holidays xx

Hi there I not on hydroxy any more but I do get upsetting dreams when I am stressed out during the day. To combat this I have a warm bath with ylang ylang oil in ( holland and barrats) and get into bed and listen to relaxing music and/or do a progressive muscle relaxation technique ( prob avail as an app) .it calms my mind right down and I sleep much better.
