NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 10th November 2014

Cambridge NRAS Group

The Cambridge group have a new meeting venue! The remaining 2014 meetings will be held at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 0QQ. Please see below times and dates for these meetings.

Tuesday 11th November - 6.30pm to 8.30pm - 'Latest RA research in Cambridge' by Dr Andrew J K Östör MA, MB BS, FRACP, FRCP (Edin) Consultant Rheumatologist & Associate Lecturer, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This meeting will be held in Lecture Theatre 2 at the Clinical School

Mid Somerset NRAS Group

Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU. In 2014 winter meetings will be held bi-monthly on a Saturday morning and summer meetings will be held on a Tuesday evening. Please see details below for specific dates and times.

Tuesday 11th November 7pm - Guest speaker: Carol-Ann Regan will be talking about 'Safe Internet Use'. There will also be a Christmas Quiz, raffle and sale.

Oxford NRAS Group

This group is co-ordinated by Sue with the support of the Rheumatology Team. Meetings are held in them Lecture

Theatre at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford OX3 7LD on Tuesdays every second month at 6:30pm to 8:00pm unless otherwise stated. Look for the NRAS direction posters to the room.

11th November - Terence Carter, Podiatrist - 'Looking After Your Feet and Correct Footwear'

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

This group meets bi-monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (unless otherwise stated) at Asda Community Centre, Asda Stores Ltd, Phillips Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3UZ. 

12th November - Craft activity - making bracelets (cost is £2 per person)

Worcester NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at Lyppard Grange Community Centre in Ankerage Green, Warndon Village, Worcester WR4 0DZ unless otherwise stated.

12th November - Sharon Branagh, Counsellor and EFT Therapist

Bath NRAS Group

Meetings are held bi-monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at The Open House Centre in Manvers Street Baptist Church, Bath, BA1 1JW, please see scheduled meeting dates below.

12th November - Guest speaker, Professor Francis Ring, Chairman of the Friends of the RNHRD will be giving a talk on 'the History of the Mineral Hospital'

Colchester NRAS Group

This group meet at the St. John's Church Community Centre, St. John's Close, Colchester CO4 0HP (parking available on site), bi-monthly on a Thursday from 7:00pm-8:30pm, unless otherwise stated below. 

13th November - Guest speaker: Physiotherapist from Colchester General Hospital

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm unless otherwise stated. For more information and for details of future meetings please visit the Isle of Wight NRAS group website.
