Has anyone taken Celebrex ?

Just got back from seeing my GP and he has given me Celebrex and Zapain, just wondered if anyone has had any experience with either. xx

Yes, nellysgran Celebrex (celecoxib) 200mg was my first NSAID when I was diagnosed. I found it worked well but my Consultant changed me to Meloxicam 15mg & then Arcoxia (etoricoxib) 90mg which is very similar to Celebrex. I still take Arcoxia on alternate days but had to have tests to ensure I was ok to continue on it long term as I've been taking it for 3 years now there are concerns it can be a problem if you have CV issues. I am also taking Zapain (co-codamol) 30/500mg but now coming off it gradually as I've recently been prescribed BuTrans patches for pain.

Yes, I took celebrex and it seemed to help the pain but it stopped my heart.

Yes I have been on celebrex for years now it is the only NSID I am able too take

I have taken Celebrex for more than six years with no problems so far in fact it's the only drug that I had no problems with

I was prescribed celebrex and arcoxia but the pharamist in hospital took me of the as the can cause high blood pressure which they did to me an now i am feeling a lot better
