Sorry to hear that. Did they say how long you'd be taking them for and I guess that means you have to stop RD medication at the same time? Just wondering as I was at the doctor this morning and they prescribed me 14 days of antibiotics due to a bronchiectasis flare-up. Take care.

Only just caught up & missed your previous post. Read it now & I'm so sorry after all you've suffered already with the thing. So how long off MTX this time? Whatever, I hope it's a good strong dose & it knocks the infection on the head. If it's problematic & doesn't clear up quickly ask if you can be prescribed metronidazole as that's ok to take whilst on MTX. I've had it with no adverse reactions & obviously the less time you're off again it the better. x

Ouch! I'm sure your not. Definitely ask if he'll prescribe metronidazole then Jo, it's worked far more quickly for me in the past & then you can take your MTX. x
