was so happy last night
well done! i know how it feels to achieve those things that seemed so small once upon a time and now are signs of huge progress! i hope your hands are better for tomorrow, happy hands for meds day!
Hi I was so happy yesterday after two weeks on hydroxychloroquine , I can wiggle my finger lol
Hi gwen2013
You sound like me! When my hands feel a bit better I do more - like opening a jam jar, or actually fastening my bra at the back ( rather than fastening it at the front and twisting it round, etc) - yep, I was SO pleased I could do it!!! But the next day, my hands/wrists are sore because I've done more. But you know you just have to try to do things when you think you can, because then you feel you are actually winning!
i did a tin of bake beans too last night with a normal tin opener, my o/f came in and said who's a clever girl then lol
I think it's just fantastic when we realise we can do something we couldn't do just the week before. I was so proud of being able to squeeze out the shampoo with just one hand - lika a "normal" person! I didn't have to mash the bottle against the wall or use both hands! It's so wonderful when we have those moments of doing something without thinking about it, and realizing that we've regained that bit of strength! I am sure that we wouldn't enjoy summer so much if we didn't have the other three seasons to make us miss it so. Much as I'd rather not have this disease, there are few people who could be so excited about squeezing out a dollop of shampoo with one hand. And it completely mde my day!
