Hi. I have had a really sore dry throat & what sounds like a smokers cough although i have never smoked in my life. Should i be concerned.

I am on monthly infusion of tocilizumab. I have already had a week of antibiotics about 4 weeks ago. Fed up of feeling so ill & tired Alison xx

I tend to thing that anything to do with my lungs needs to be checked out by a doctor, so do go to see your GP. After all, they're a bit essential!

Hiya sorry to hear you are not well. Unfortunately the drugs we take can leave is more susceptible to bugs that's why I steer clear of anyone with the hint of a cold. It's very important that you are seen again by your gp and I was told to always go even if it's just a cold as unfortunately some people don't bother and end up being admitted with pneumonia. If I struggle to get a timely appointment I tell the receptionist I am on chemotherapy and have a cough/cold/ sore throat etc. always does the trick! Good luck

Thank you :-). Went on holiday 3 weeks ago both myself & husband had a bad cold 3 days after arriving home. Too many germs floating about on the plane i think. Had a good hol though. Alison xx
