Antibiotics!

Was hoping the third set of antibiotics would sort my tooth but no, now about to start fourth ones these better work as mouth killing me. Body not doing good either as had to stop RA meds while on all these antibiotics. To say I not happy is an understatement today!

I tried that but wasn't my usual dr, given up on dentist as they said can't do nothing else till hear from hospital to have tooth out. So went to drs but my dr on holiday, if these don't work I am gonna demand to see someone x

This sounds miserable. It would be really bad if their neglect ended in you having an extraction. Is there no hospital dental department? And the weekend coming up too- I'm so sorry

Cathie got to have the wisdom tooth out anyway but it's the waiting around till hospital have me in to do it, just want rid of this infection x

I can remember going A&E when i had an abcess, only trouble was it was a Sunday and there was'nt a dentist in so they just gave me pain relieve , which didnt help that much. I would go down and see what they say it would'nt hurt any.

Hope you get sorted soon as there is nothing worse than tooth ache

You poor love. I know it does not help your pain but I really do feel for you. Hopefully you won't have to put up with the pain and aggravation much longer.

I think I said on a thread elsewhere ... had to have three lots of antibiotics over nearly a month including two lots at the same time for a tooth/jaw infection. The emergency dentist said he would not entertain working on the tooth to root canal etc until the swelling and infection had gone down considerably. Horrible to have to wait like this I know. I also recall how unbearable was the pain of impacted wisdom teeth .. all four grew sideways and very quickly and had to be extracted in hospital many years ago. Very glad to depart with them too! I hope this latest antibiotic does what i is supposed to as I can imagine you are feeling so awful too without your RA meds. Grrr. Hang in there. I hope soon have a solution and mch needed relief. xx

is it due to meds you are on which makes healing slow.Had problems before with abbess dentist would not take my tooth out hope you feel better soon
