Hi Digger, I do not know of any. When I wa diagnosed tried to find a local group just over the water from you and there was nothing. I always check NRAS for their meeting venues and as yet have not seen any. Maybe we should start up our own group North of the border

Theres some talk of setting one up in Edinburgh, but I think its just talk so far. I have to focus on getting some treatment but once I feel better I'd love to meet some fellow sufferers and also get to grips on improving RA services for people here.

That's great. Had scan, followed by extremely large slice of cream cake and two prednisolene. Do you come to Edinburgh? Maybe we could message one another with contact details?

We do have a group of NRAS ambassadors now scattered all over Scotland. It is one of our longterm aims to set up local groups in Scotland, I know I would love to have the support of such a group. If anyone wants to message me, we could start to get an idea of who would be interested in working towards this.

I've just had a knee replacement, so a bit out of commission at the moment, butI do believe strongly that groups are a great way of helping ourselves, and giving mutual support

sorry to hear your out of commission at the moment and thanks for your reply i for one and two others on this sight are also looking towards setting up a support group in our area. i would be delighted to work towards this. i think this is the way forward people supporting each other and said "it may be a way of improving services for people with RA" in our area
