Is anyone up with joining me Friday Eve on a visit to see Santa at the end of Southend pier..we can take the train up..there is a pub at the end where I am going to have a pint of Baileys...chicken likes brandy and babychampagne...so do I Some hot salt and vinegar a hippies and Mark Knoffler playing Local Hero for me...well that's me sorted.x

A bit far Mary, but the chance to hear Mark Knoffler live. I'm in. I'll have my usual mulled wine (hot) You're not going to hang glide down this time then? I was thinking of water skiing down, but there might be another surge tide and I can't swim!! So it will be the bus - although I don't think my bus pass will take me that far.
Santa's dropping me off I.ll ask him to pick you up as well...I hope he isn't grumpy because if he is he just tips the sleigh and we fall out.x
What time you thinking cos Barry Manilow and Johnny Depp are gonna pick me up and bring me , they heard Southend is lovely at this time of year.

No don't have that album. With moving house some stuff had to go!!! vinyl went!Still go and see Knoffler now he is just as good. the last thing we saw Kings of leon man that was good tox
I've still got about 300 albums..I've never seen a live band..I have been to Leeds Castle concert with The Rpyal Philamonic..spent most of the time in tears it was so emotional..they have it in the grounds and everyone takes a table candles..wine etc and a lot of people really dress up..there were about 20.000 people there..and you know what...one policeman!!! It is brilliant. X
ER I think he might lose track of my burps, I even do it in my sleep. Think I'll bring my flippers just in case I want a paddle, got to keep me feet warm.

It's pretty cold at the end of pier but the RNLB are there to catch us as we fall over. (Think I've got RNLB wrong). Shouldn't have really I support them..they once rescued my daughter when she was 16 and gone for a walk on the mud with friends...I was in a terrible state..I nearly killed her.x

Well OK, I think I can make it....I can get to the East coast on this side tomorrow, have my pilot drop the slip-line anchor when he lands near the Pier and I will just slip on over and meet y'al at the pub. I prefer a booth, rather than a table, chairs are too difficult to move everytime a girl wants to dance, so look for me in a booth. There is room to dance there isn't there?
Oh, one little thing...Bridget will want to come along, if you don't mind.

Southend now has it's own airport Lorann so you can fly in on the back of an American Eagle to make it easier for you.

Southend airport is really up and running now..I used to work there years ago I was an Air Traffic Control Clerk..I did flights plans etc...great fun.maryx

I shall bring my Baileys fountain - almost perfected it, just one more bottle to trial it with just to be sure. Pond pump, bit of old hose and a bucket full of joy.

I want to drive the engine, or shovel coal, or isn't it a steam train? I shall definitely wear my fur lined onesie and the new padders socks my DIL has bought me for Christmas - whoops, she doesn't know I've opened it!! Need to get a bigger pair of flippers to wear over them though.

Well where are you all..are you on the train already? Chicken and I missed it so we ran after it and we are on top of train...I am dressed as a Christmas tree couldn't find a fairy so put chicken on top...she is either meditating or she is in shock.
