Please find details of NRAS group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 25th November 2013

St. Helens NRAS Group

The group meets every other month at The Assembly Room, St Helens Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens WA10 1HP from 6.30pm to 8pm. There is a free car park at the back of the Town Hall (take first right off Birchley St) and disabled access via a lift to the left of the front steps.

Tuesday 26th November - Tips for a Good Night’s Sleep, by Yvonne Hough, Occupational Therapist

Maidstone NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Tremain Hall, Aylesford Village Community Centre, 25 Forstal Road, Aylesford ME20 7AU on Tuesdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm unless otherwise stated.

26th November - James Ritchie, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Foot Specialist at Spire Hospital will be giving a talk on feet

Salisbury NRAS Group

The group meets bi-monthly at Sarum College, The Close, Salisbury SP1 2EE (free parking available) from 6:30pm-8:30pm on a Wednesday unless otherwise stated.

27th November - Guest speaker: Dr Lucy Cox, Consultant Rheumatologist

North Hants & Winchester NRAS Group

The following dates for group meetings are to be held at Central 40, Chineham Park, Basingstoke RG24 8WG on a Wednesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm unless otherwise stated.

 

27th November - 'Get Together' An open meeting to have fun and get to know each other better.

Leeds NRAS Group

Meetings are held alternate months on Wednesdays at Leeds Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit (LMBRU), Chapel Allerton Hospital, Chapeltown Road, Leeds LS7 4SA unless otherwise stated (see dates below).

27th November - 1.30 – 3.00pm Dr Mike Backhouse, Podiatry Research Fellow

Heart of England (Solihull) NRAS Group

This NRAS group meets on a Thursday in every other month at Broomfield Hall, Union Road, Solihull B91 3DH (The British Legion) from 6:45pm for prompt start at 7:00pm to 8:30pm unless otherwise stated. This is opposite the back entrance to Solihull Hospital.

The November meeting is now being held on Wednesday 27th November - Social evening; the nurses from Solihull Hospital will be attending to tell all about their Kilimanjaro trek!

West Dorset (Dorchester) NRAS Group

2013 Meetings will be held bi-monthly at the Dorchester Day Centre, Acland Road, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1SH on a Thursday from 7:00pm-8:30pm, unless otherwise stated.

28th November - Michael Roesch, Orthopaedic Consultant at Shepton Mallet treatment centre will be talking on joint replacement for those with RA. 

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
