So to recap - Eccles Cakes, double cream, Bolly liberated from Concorde, an assortment of teas, Loretta's excellent coffee and some veeeeery comfortable seating!!!!!!
Mm Cece I have the chair with Luthien!! Ha ha. I brought some Cristal as I know Lloret is liking French things just now! But maybe the dmards non drinkers can have cafe au lait! Have croissants too, I love the chocolate brioche as well!

Talking of France my picture is me in Sarlat du canard in the Dordogne this summer.
I need a drink. A LARGE one! New kitchen being fitted. So far: electrics been put in wrong place. Water to new sink going in wrong direction ( look at the plans you numptys! ). Measurement on one wall wrong, so different sized cabinet needed. Do you want us to tile above the hob? You mean up to the intergrated extractor? What extractor?? Aggghhhhhh!

Me with the sore feet, I am playing what they call who's the most disabled! At festivals. They often had only six chairs for forty of us, so we laugh nd play whose the most disabled lol, Katy takes me a chair so I don't need to use theirs lol
Lol, so what food did u bing, I brought croissants and brioche today! Now need to know I have my Xmas cake down, does anyone ladle brandy in each week, I have been old it works, anyone one done it?
I have many , though it's been years..You wrap it in several layers of cheesecloth, then once a week drizzle, not ladle, the brandy over the top and a little on the sides. The flavour will permeate the cake and the cheesecloth keeps it from getting soggy. good luck, I'm sure it will be wonderfully edible

Oh my gosh! Thank you , Ronnie. I do relish this, it seemed to just happen one day, as I wrote in the blog yesterday, but when we think about what we are doing it is awesome. And a few people I have described this to, think it is utterly amazing.

Anybody need a nap, I don't have an upstairs, but there is the great room off the kitchen, with a day bed and tv and my recumbent exercise bike, and my paint shop just a step up from the great room

Nooo. I was too late! I had to go for another 'Rescue your Body' class. Apparently it takes more than one session to do this. It seemed such a good idea but I feel considerably worse now so happy to go for a nap also. (After eating the strawberries and clotted cream) xx

She's been taken by the Ohio Queen's English Society, apparently they were tipped off by one of their members who works in airport customs that a UK traveller who abuses the letter A, A was trying to enter the country masquerading the Scouse dialect as a Stew!! At the moment she's unharmed but they're demanding she sit an oral examination in a Southern accent and she must ennunciate to their satisfaction. Failure to do so will result in her never being able to use vowels again, what can we do? We must save her.............

I Judy (the creaky heroine) will undertake to save scouser. Educated in North London by nuns my vowels are supremely well annunciated.
If scouser's family can send me a set of her clothes I shall sneak in and exchange places with her.
No one will know as we shall do this at the speed of light or maybe a tad slower.

My sources within US customs tell me she is floundering with her enunciation,,particularly with the word "alright", if you could coach her in the next 30 mins they have promised do let her resit the exam.
I can't let you go in as a human sacrifice, you could end up in an orange jumpsuit, which would be far worse than a red onesie!! Plus we may never see you again, no it's too risky..............let's hope those North London nuns can save her vicariously through your good self.
I was taught by the North West London nuns myself, we'll have to compare notes once dear Scouser is once again at liberty on the site

OMG! I read up as far as 'I can't let you go as a human' and thought I was being given the opportunity to use my 'turn into a suitable animal powers'. I am so disappointed but must put my own needs behind me and concentrate.

Funny though, my texting on the phone with my son is usually done without5 vowels. It reads pretty funny but we know what we are saying...I didn't know that was a scouse thing?
Ronnie, I thought you must have the same kind of holiday when you referred to Thanksgiving. haha You do know it is the date we had the first harvest party to celebrate our breaking ties from the mother country? No, not really, it really was a Thanksgiving Harvest dinner, using all the various vegetables that had been planted successfully, not knowing what kind of ground was here. Then , of , course, the wild turkey, rabbits, squirells, Pheasantt whatever they found.
In pennsylvania, where I was raised, we had actual Harvest parties, I have attended, where there were sooo many different veggies I had never heard of, and so many recipes to fix them different ways, and the entire village of Rundletown came out to the Grange Hall and it lasted on into the night, with my aunt Rae playing the player piano
And now I must go write a limerick!!

Just had to stop for a McDs, as I have some of a kitchen but no oven, til tomorrow... Maybe! So did they do a full body search scouser? No wonder you were in there a long time......oh whoops, that came out wrong didn't it?

I sure do dtech! The great room, with a daybed is very comfortable, with a lavatory just next door to the kitchen. That room was created out of what was once the garage, so former resident's daughter, home from college, could have a room to herself. My grandkids loved it when they were younger and stayed over at Grandma's, sometimes for a week or two in the summer.
Then I also have the guest room, with queen sized bed, another tv, telephone and of course, the bowl of guest soaps that nobody ever uses! And fresh flowers if I know you are coming to stay
The guest room is next to the bathroom, with the jacuzzi and sauna light.
Seriuosly for a moment, if any one ever wants to visit in the states, atleast around northern Ohio, you are welcome to stay here.
