I don’t take MTX but like camomile tea. I think it’s a drink so could not be enough to do much unless you drink a huge amount of it. But hopefully someone on MTX might know more. Turmeric tastes vile so no idea about that sorry.

So if you’re talking about the tea or teabags available in supermarkets, they will be fine with the small amount. I use them regularly. Turmeric supplements interscg with a lot of meds, so you would need to check with a pharmacist. It can increase bruising in some due to altering clotting, it can increase stomach acid, reducing effectiveness of PPIs. Shouldn’t be used by diabetics, and caution Keith anyone with kidney, liver or gallstone problems. People wrongly assume supplements bought over the counter are safe, but they are capable of causing issues when they interact with medication. I was told by a sales rep that a concentrated turmeric was fine with v CCG looidogrel, but ended up covered from head to toe with bruises. I learnt my lesson and trust no one but myself. Turmeric spice purchased from chemists is safe, as it is very low in the compound that’s needed, but avoid supplement capsule or tablets.

If you ring your local pharmacist, they'll be able to tell you, most of them know more than GPs about drugs and interactions.

ginger might help to settle the stomach (tea or flat ginger ale).

All the best

Hi. What tummy issues do you have? Only asking as MTX tablets gave me terrible acid which I was on PPI'S for anyway for years. The the MTX injection gave me gastritis. I had to come off them.

I've found over the years that ginger helps me most. Either as a tea, in biscuits, ginger ale, ginger beer, in syrup or as crystallised. Nibbling on the crystallised ginger seemed to settle my tummy and I love the stuff, especially from Lakeland.

I’m thinking ginger or peppermint tea would help more than chamomile

Another vote for ginger and/or peppermint 😉
