hi guys not blogged for a while but do still read everyone elses as like to keep up to date with all of you.
getting my walking sticks tomorrow......................... really dont want them but have finally accepted that sometimes i will need them round the house, can honestly say that im doing well on ENBREL and im praying it keeps working,

glad you have accepted them, as the right walking aids do make life a whole lot safer. Once you have the NHS ones and been shown how to use them, theres nothing stopping you buying some nice coloured ones for going out, as you will know what you need, and what height they need to be set at for you.
There is a huge range of stick type aids.. I Have two nordic type walking poles and lovely folding floral stick x
I have a beautiful blue cane I named Oscar. He's wonderful, I love him. I need to get a new folding cane too but I'm waiting until I find just the right one.
I also have a rollator. I figure, if it helps, it's worth it.
I have some fold up plain ones that are in my wheelchair bag for when I need to transfer
However the standard NHS ones I have with the special grips my sisters have altered for me, they are covered In pink and white crystals all over except the handles 
Much cheaper than the expensive ones and no one else has the same ones x
I have sticks to help me but I find that my hands get worse after using them so end up leaving them at home most of the time 
. Rocks and hard places eh.........the stuff we have to put up with. @Missy, why Oscar lol (Made me giggle)
