Last night I went to regents park open air theatre and saw To kill a mockingbird, absolutely superb acting, plus Hugh Laurie in the audience (his fellow actor in House plays Atticus Finch) the children who played Scout, Dill and Jem were incredible
A bit nippy after the sun went down but magical...............haven't been there for 30 years

Aww my favourite book. How amazing. And with Dr.House in the audience!
Brilliant - my mum used to take me to Regent's Park (I'm a Londoner by origin) with a big blanket and flask of hot chocolate. I remember Midsummer Night's Dream with Puck - me looking at the shrubs and bushes for him afterwards for days! To kill a Mockingbird is a wonderful book - studied it for o'level and read it to the boys. The Minack theatre near Land's End is the other outdoor theatre I have been to - I remember watching the Crucible with the sea glistening below and being mesmerised by it all when I was a student at Falmouth. Thanks for happy memories!
just finished that book after many years telling myself I ought to - wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone -especially in times when we witness intolerance so often. Enjoy the sun if you have it. Rain tomorrow for most.
