Everytime i do anything i suffer,it doesn't matter whether i do a bit of gardening or a day out i suffer.I am usually very upbeat about this wretched illness(another w) My head is ok,just wish the rest was as good. The trouble i have is whether its ra or fibro,i don't know which is causing the problems.xxx

Sorry to hear so many of you are struggling right now. I'm WISHING you all the best and sending WARM hugs x x

Today I'm going out on my first solo WALK since my op. It's a lovely day and I need to keep fit to look after my WEIGHT

Do be very careful Paula as you have not been long out of hospital. Only take a small walk, know things have changed in the 18yrs since i had my op but it is still going to take time. love sylvia.xxx

Thanks Sylvi, Mum came to visit and we went together. She's 74 and the slowest thing on two legs so definitely took it easy :-) x x

Hang in there!!!

Don't you dare let this dreadful RA or Fibro get to you. I rely on you to be my inspiration!

I am currently sitting on sofa looking out to sea as high as a kite!! Was in so much pain through the night had to take some oramorph earlier. (Don't usually touch it unless very bad) Don't like not being in control.

I have consultant tomorrow to see what he is going to put me on next after my severe reaction to MTX.

Hopefully they will have come up with a magic cure overnight ;)

Can't do any work today as I dread to think what I may write by mistake whilst feeling the effects of the oramorph.

Here is something to cheer you up.... I have been shortlisted for a big award, for public services. Have to go before the judges on Friday in London. Just praying that I am well enough to go.

Find out in June at an award dinner if I won or not. I am not expecting to win as the other 5 ladies are all titled etc!!!

Oh well I am just so pleased to have been nominated in first place and to have got to final shortlist!!

Keep fighting and more to the point take the day an hour by hour.

Sending gentle huge hugs your way

Oh my darling i am so proud of you for achieving what you have. That means a new dress and shoes, and a handbag to take with you and if your staying overnight a trip to the hairdressers is in order as well. You underestimate yourself, have every confidence that you are going to win. What exactly have you done to be nominated for the award? Also all five of you are winners for getting nominated in the first lace.xxx
