Hi everybody.I am new to this site. I will be 58 in a month, basically i have been smoking all my life on and off.I stopped smoking exactly on the 8th of march due to a nasty and painfull cold with persistent cough .i was in so much stress that i decided to stop for good.I had ups and downs this last month, hard days sometime, but i am so happy i consider myself an ex smoker now.Along with that i started to do a new walk in a park once a week at least. And back in a gym slowly.i realised how horrible this habit is.good luck to all of you.

Thanks.I have to say that giving up smoking needs a serious plan and the physio activities to help the breathing.I am experiencing itchy gums and light cough ,to do with lungs cleansing i have been told.Another thing i have done is giving up on caffeine drinks slowly.I sleep like a baby now.and never had my toungue so red for years!great things happen when we stop smoking!
