Can’t tell you how great I feel as an ex smoker. I have tackled most triggers now and built up my resistance for smoking in most situations. It’s been the most challenging part of quitting on the long term side of things. I am feeling really good with in myself, I am much more calmer and my anxiety and depression has subsided. I was getting bad anxiety and depression so it feels good to be able to take control back of myself and use simple strategies such as breathing. Everything has changed so much in such a positive way. I always use to fight with myself about quitting and use to think, my only regret would be that I wish I had done it sooner when I would actually quit. This statement is so true. I use to have nightmares about my teeth falling out. Thankfully I have quit before that has happened. Before any serious bad stuff. This is it for me. I am done and dusted with smoking. Why would I want to go back to that unhappy life where I am not in control of it.
