On one hand it seems easier than I thought it would be but at the same time it’s been quite difficult.

Now at day 26 and 23 respectively. Has anyone else suffered from severe depression from nicotine withdrawal? I’ve been struggling with it pretty much since I quit but thought it would have subsided by now.

I have been off and on and I am at 1 month and 6 days. It was real bad at first but getting a little better now. I am using the patch so I am not sure if it is nicotine withdraw or just grieving our friend (cigs) that we let go and learning to deal with thoughts differently.

Hey LeroyJenkins28 - depression is a common enough nicotine withdrawal as it is like grieving the loss of a friend as Vicky mentioned. See link to a pinned post of common withdrawals worth a read if not already done so:

Also, as you just over the 3 week mark, you are going through 'the blahs' or 'icky threes' as below;

If it does get worse, maybe speak to your doctor or get some herbal supplements to help with this, keep in touch when you can :)
