I am halfway through day 2, I am using NRT patches. Has anyone else found they have severe fatigue? I feel like my body is a lead weight and cant concentrate on anything. Will this pass. I was told the first two weeks are the worst. I feel like Ive lost my appetite too

Huge welcome to our community motivatedunicorn and congratulations on 2 days quit!

I am almost 2 years quit cold turkey and has been the best decision of my life :) What you are experiencing with fatigue and lack of concentration is normal withdrawals which may reoccur again when you come off the patches as the nicotine leaves your system it just takes 3 days. With the nicotine fix still getting into your body and mind, it will therefore leave the withdrawals lasting longer, but good news, as each day passes smoke free, the stronger you will become and easier it gets. For me when I quit, my appetite increased as could taste and smell everything so much better, but the loss of appetite might be a side effect from the patches if you want to check them - have a read of below link of pinned posts - knowledge is key to know what is going on - stay close to us and post anytime, we are here to help :)

I have slept alot of it. When i havent been asleep I've been tidying things that dont need tidying to keep occupied haha. But still so tired though. Im glad everyone os saying it passes in a week or so. I know it will be worth it I am stronger than a craving 💪

I don't think I lifted myself off the sofa for the first week unless it was to drag myself up to bed but it did not last. Week 2 I had my energy back
