Hi guys... will be rolling into day 6 tomorrow, this morning i was fine at work and all day untill i was driving home, i know it's normal for the cravings to come and go but for some reason they have been quite a bit intense tonight.
Also, just wondering in general how long will it take for my sleeping pattern to get back to normal? im only getting around 5 hours sleep a night... my mind is working overtime! still drinking lots of water, breathing etc...
On a good note tho, i feel and smell so clean, and i actually am starting to really taste my food again... im not so wheezy or rattly in my chest so i am seeing the benefits already

Hey rachey52 , good to read an update and that you are starting to see the benefits. Everyone's quit is unique to themselves and how long the cravings and withdrawals are and last, my husband had very little cravings when he quit and just got on with it whereas I had very bad cravings which gradually started to ease, be less severe and less frequent after about 12 weeks.
As you are at Day 5 you are in the thick of the mental battle as your body and mind starts to rewire, repair and recover - this takes time but the great news is that the body will recover, just take it hour by hour and day by day, lots of deep breathing, keep busy, loads of water, eat lots of fruit and veg and bit of exercise daily. I promise, as each day passes it will get easier, embrace this best journey of your life -
**Below link with pinned post is so worth the read as there is one there on withdrawals and estimate timelines (knowledge is key too, so try and read up as much as you can on what is happening and what to expect).**
Rachey..yes, it is very uncomfortable not to get a full nights sleep but the awards is worth it so much...I loved every new discovery... smell, taste breath...etc..etc..!
Escaping the entrapment is definately worth the suffering..; Stay strong !!
