98th Day Smoke Free.

On the 9th of December, I ended up in Hospital, with breathing difficulties and high blood pressure. use to think I was bullet-proof. The Dr basically said stop smoking or die. BTW I am living in Thailand where they are anything but direct, so I was taken aback by the directness of the Dr.

Week 1 was really difficult. but did things like rearranging my routines

no coffee until after 10 stuff like that. I also I made sure I kept busy.

Long story short I am now almost at the 100-day mark. I don't actually thinkabout cigarettes. Benefits, no coughing up that awful phlegm in the mornings. My clothes and apartment no longer smell bad, I feel clean on the inside.

That's it. Not easy to begin with, but what happens is all of a sudden say after the second month it's quite easy.

Well done Hidden and a massive well done on 100 days!!

Your post is reassuring to us newbies and I am finding that even going into my 5th week, I do not think about smoking anywhere as much as the first few weeks...

Sorry to hear about your ill health but at least that and the doctors directness made you stop - I wish more UK doctors were like that - think how many lives could be saved!!

I look forward to following your quit journey and your continued improved health.
