Good day for me....

Today is a very good day for me with a lot of firsts and I am happy and proud....It will be my first smoke free birthday in 38 years ( my last one was on 18) and I am feeling so good as on that last smoke free birthday.(Not really but almost)

It just so happens that we also exported our millionth carton of bananas for the year today and the first time our farm produced a million cartons per year and that with four weeks in hand.

(Our best previous was 950 000)

My managers jokingly said today it was due to my grumpiness when I stopped smoking in July that I drove them so hard and that is why we achieved this wonderful production target..

With this wonderful achievement the dark cloud of a very serious drought is hanging over us and please let your prayers be with us for some rain.
