Well done you!
How are you quitting? Are you using any nicotine replacement therapies, or going cold turkey?
Way to go Tony!
Post often and let us know how it's going
You're definitely in the right place Tony Pat yourself on the back for getting through this morning!
Here's an encouraging thought for you - I was on my Day 1 just 12 days ago, I was counting the hours, and sometimes even the minutes, I felt tense and wired and generally not myself at all, and I thought I'd never get over it. But it DOES get easier, and quite quickly. Believe in yourself and keep fighting!
Good luck to you. We were all where you are right now once. You may have some tough times ahead. But you will get all the help and support you need here.
Nice one dude Best wishes
Well done for going with this. All the best.
Well done Anthony and good luck with your quit

Well done Tony, honestly you will ask yourself if it's worth it, it so is, even after only 3 weeks, I feel better, yes it was hard, my posts of 2 weeks ago show that. Post here every day as often as you need, the support is amazing x
Hiya hope ur first day hasn't been too bad, the light headed feeling is all the extra lovely
Oxygen going to ur brain feelijg utterly drained and spaced out is also common in the early days, you are doing great, here's to day 2 xx
Every journey begins with the first step. You have taken that step. Tomorrow is the next step forward...support will be here should you need it.
You made a great decision Tony! I'm only 9 days ahead of you, and quit cold turkey as well... how physically hard the first day was... but you'll see: the "drunk" feeling & light headedness will go away really quickly. So hang in there!
Day 2 ...and I am still floating around like I am in a dream....not really craving for a smoke ..I just feel weird ...hoping once I get through today will start to feel earthbound again
