Day 58, 3 days until moving into month 3. Have to be honest if it weren't for my OH I would have failed my quit this week, so glad he was there to remind me of what is important.
Still here: Day 58, 3 days until moving into... - No Smoking Day
Still here
Hey...none of that talk. You're an inspiration to me, as well as a competitor
If I can do it, you definitely can.
Fantastic job on sticking to your guns and marching forth on the path to being a non smoker forever!
Sometimes it may feel like it would be easier just to give up and have a cigarette, doesn't it? But really it isn't.
Lets look at it..
To give up:
You have to first pull out some of that hard earned money you have accumulated from not smoking for 2 (almost 3) months, get in your car, drive to the gas station, ask them to literally hand you the source of your addiction, drive back home, find a lighter and then and only then those 3 months of your time have been wasted.
To stay quit:
Stay in your nice comfortable house with your other half and have some water until the crave goes away. (and it will before you know it!)
I am glad that your other half has summoned the strength thats in you to remain on your quit. It's one of the best decisions of your life. Guaranteed!
Mike's dead right you know Kirstie
I can add nothing to his wise words other than to send you my hearty congratulations for being on the homeward straight of getting Month 2 done and dusted, and to send your OH my equally hearty congratulations for refusing to let you stray from the straight & narrow.
Just keep plodding on and it WILL get easier. Honestly it will.

Thanks for your lovely advice Mike and it really has helped, but unfortunately I'm staying in a motorhome on my parent's drive this week so this made me giggle. It is a very nice motorhome, just nothing beats your own place! Can't wait to get home.
And thanks everyone else, back feeling much more secure in the quit now for sure. x
Well done Kirstie - that's real progress.
I'm still here as well - not one puff - and I'll be smoke-free for 11 weeks on Saturday.
Gets easier with the passing of each week - except for a sudden craving out of the blue.
But we hang on in there don't we - and we clock up the weeks of being a non-smoker.
To all who are putting nicotine behind them - we CAN do it - and we WILL do it.
58 (or now 59!) days is a great achievement.
Its funny when craves creep up on you, keep going it does ger easier
Wow wow wow
Doing great :). Sounds like you have a great oh;). Just keep going my sweet
Brilliant work Kirstie particularly with everything you are dealing with at the moment you are doing absolutely great xxx
