It turns out that I have a virus which is why ive been feeling so rubbish the last few days. I really did think it was down to withdrawal symptoms.
At day 8 and removed my 15mg patch at approx 20.00hrs last night and decided to go with the 4mg lozenges from this morning. All seems fine at the minute although they do take forever to dissolve and taste like damp cardboard.

I feel determination is within you, something not working so your trying something else. Very positive :)Its not so much that the patches were not working. I don't have any what you might call severe cravings so if I can reduce the nic levels in me sooner then so much the better.
I don't doubt for one second that I will quit smoking but I want to do it as painlessly as possible.
Sorry to hear about the virus - just had one myself.
Try the NicQuitin lozenges, far nicer than the prescription ones, they are minty and take forever to dissolve so work great !
Lots of strength and positive thoughts to you. ! Keep posting and keep going. bb xThose are the ones im using lol. you mean they actually produce ones that taste worse than these
Actually, in case you didn't know, they do a fruit version as well as the mint version. I rather preferred the mint one but it might be different for you.
And good for you for deciding to ditch the patches. No point in using something if you don't really need to.
