So here at day 3 completed moving through the 4th. Yesterday was freaking terrible. I think I just sat in one place staring at the cieling for a good 3 hours. Hated the world and everyone in it.
I seriously did't quite realise the things people go through when quitting smoking. I easily knocked out depression, anger, crying, confusion in one day.
But pushed through just about and day 4 is going pretty well. Feeling much more calm. Just drinking plenty cups of tea and keeping myself occupied.
A big shout out to those currently quitting in "Stoptober"! Good luck to you all and best wishes.
Hope everyone is doing well.

It certainly is a bumpy old ride, this quitting lark. But as much as you get the bad bits, you will get the good bits too, and the good bits far outweigh the bad bits.......even more so the further into your quit you get.
I always think of the bad bits as the nicotine monster trying to lure me back, but he's just a weedy bit of old plant..........
Mate , I felt just the same, nothing compared to those first 3 days ,they feel awful! you got through it and it starts getting easier from now ! good work and well done !
Well done on getting through day 3. I found that to be a really hard one to get through too.
The first 3 days are the worse and things will get better, so be proud of beating the toughest of hurdles and its only onwards and upwards from now on.
I'm on Day 3 today and my day yesterday sounds a bit like yours. I am feeling very tearful, which is odd, as I thought I'd feel more angry/snappy! I cried the night before I gave up though!
It truly makes a massive difference in accomplishing this goal!
Hey there Hattie.
A massive well done on getting through day 3! Easily I found that particular day the hardest! It's as if it all came to a head. But stay strong and smash through those pain barriers!
