Day 16..my funky smoking dream!

Yay so day sixteen for moi!

But i woke up and felt so guilty...:rolleyes:

I had a dream that i was walking around a shop smoking...and around the whole shop i must have smoked 4 cigs.

At the check out i got pissed off with myself...and started to cry.

And i screamed at the top of my voice "NOW I GOT TO START AT DAY ONE AGAIN...I DONT SMOKE FFS"

I woke up, and i thought for a second id actually smoked...:rolleyes:

In a strange kinda way it curbed my cravings!! I had a smoke in my dream LOL!!!

I had a smoking dream a few days back. It was a bit more normal though ;)!

I just dreamt that I had one down the pub. After a few moments of being annoyed with myself I realised I hadn't been to the pub so it was ok.

The trouble with them smoking dreams is they make you feel such a failure briefly when you wake up from them. I'm only had about 3 such dreams (that i remember) in my quit this time, but each time i've felt really bad when i woke.. then relief hits as your waking up brain realises, hang on .. none of that has actually just happened.

Remember the feelings of disappointment and upset though because thats not far off how you'd feel if you caved in for real.

I only ever had one smoking dream Elli and I felt the same about it. Mind you I had a huge crave in my sleep a few weeks ago, it was awful, reminded me of what it had been like, urgh.

Well done getting 16 days sorted, wishing you many more smoke-free days.

the smoking dreams i found truly yuk and detrimental to my quit as they were so real

Good for you elli that your mind is in the right place so dream has made your resolve stronger and craves weaker :cool:

Yipee you dont smoke and what happened in dream won't happen in reality

Damm, i must eat more cheese before going to bed. Only dreams i get, i am being chased by nut nuts with guns and things, last night i was in a police station when this guy started shooting at anyone he came accross, we were all hiding in a room without a lock on the door and he burst through and i woke up in a right old sweat Why oh why cant i have THOSE type of dreams, why are you lot having all the fun:mad:
