Went to my stop smoking grouo yesterday and my carbon monoxide level was 2!! Down fron 17! I am chuffed although I can't feel any benefits yet I am pleased to be getting away from the ciggies... also a big thankyou to every one on here for the help and support and tips and advice. I went to morrisons yesterday and spent about 20 £ on mints and chewing gum lol... seems to help when I'm really struggling! Any one else using mints to help???

Ooh that's fab, all that nice oxygen instead of the CO!!
I didn't use mints, but went from about a pack a day of Marlboro Lights to a pack and a bit a day of Wrigley's Extra - the big cardboard ones - and that definitely helped me!!It's good to give your mouth something to do!!

Oh that's fab, it'll keep your mind off ciggies too 'cos I was always worse when I got bored
Well done Zach. Know what you mean about the mints...I bought 4 packs of Polo's this morning. I did grapes yesterday and ended up sick of the sight of them.
I can understand the Puzzle book too. I just seem to have loads of time to kill which I never used to have.
Almost three months down the line and I still chew loads of gum and sugar free sweets. I find it helps tremendously. My ipad has had a lot more use these last 3 months too, playing games, solving puzzles all helps to keep the mind off smoking. It does get easier so keep positive and chew as much as you like
Going well there bud.. sweets, sweets and more sweets for me and I've only just swapped to the sugar free variety so will probably lose a few teeth this year
