Thank you all so so much for your lovely words. Both those of you I know, who know I know you, and who have helped me so much.......and those of you I know, who don't know I know you, and who I've loved watching help others so much. I may not post so often anymore....but I've still got my finger on the pulse of the great BIG beating heart that is this WONDERFUL forum. Max and Kat....get a room heh heh.

My daughter got married on Saturday. What a day! Only just got rid (erm) said tarra to my family today.......so i'm very VERY tired.....and therefore you are all escaping being bored to tears by a long Dippy sermon. (for now)

Being, as I am, a Dippy Egg.....and NOT a Kate Winslett......I shall resist the temptation to name and thank each and every one of you in a long weepy oscar style speech that has you all racing for the forum sick-bucket. But..... I really must mention those who were around as I set out on this journey.....my lovely Una’s...Sue... the controversial, but ever so wise Alex....Boo (she shares my daughters nickname)...the charming Aitch, whom I adore....and, of course Hellesbelles and Hazel....who’s unfailing optimism, encouragement, support and undeniable good sense were invaluable to me.....and to many others. I wish I was able to be as much support and help to others as them.....but here’s the thing. In the end, I found this all fairly easy. Pretty soon I could hardly remember what the problem was, or how I solved it.....let alone how to tell anyone else how to solve it. I remember on about day 2.......I was all mental, whoozy headed......and had my head shoved into a how to stop smoking book. My son came in and said something like....”Mam....what are you wasting your time with that for? If you want to stop smoking.....just stop”. At the time I wanted to hit him....but after a few days....when things calmed a little.....I could see how totally right he was. If you REALLY want to stop smoking......you just dont smoke.....not ever! Its the only rule you need.

Newbies. I LOVE my new life. Love it. I have strength....energy.....freshness.....and freedom. I have a bike....and the heart and lungs to whizz around on it. Its beautiful. I have a feeling of health and lightness that I havent known since I was very very young. You need to come and get yourself a piece of this
