Hit 18 months today :D

1 year to 18 months has been really easy even with very stressful events occurring (OH is currently going through chemo) - Very rarely think about smoking, just the occasional weird 'fag break time' feeling that goes away instantly. Really detest the smell now!!!

I amazed at the amount of people currently giving up in our social circle (it must be something to do with age) - there will be no smokers left in a couple of years!!! Glad to be part of it and not the last one!!!

Struggling a bit with the weight, but its finally looking like spring so the bike will be dusted off!!

16000 cigs not smoked, £5000 'saved' (spent - mainly on biscuits!!!) :D

How many? How much?? Good lord!

Congratulations Dave, great achievement, can't wait to be where you are. 18 months in that is, not Birmingham, although I've been there many times and like it.

Now please stop beating me in the quiz for once!:D

Good to read this fantastic news. 18 months is brilliant. Stressful events are so much more do-able when smokefree. some are even enjoyable maybe its got something to do with having more energy or knowing that if u can quit smoking then anything is possible. read a post recently where someone said it is now enjoyable to say no when tempation comes, I completely get that.

Awww missed this as I completely forget we'd done 18 months and I very rarely come on here now (it's 22 months now!). So proud of all of us...amazing. Without the rest of you October quitters and many others on this forum I wouldn't have done it. Congrats and well done me old mucker!

Good luck to your other half with her treatment and hope she licks the f**ker.
