So today marks the end of my 6th week smoke free, 42 smoke free days, 631 death sticks not smoked, and about £18 saved.
I like statistics and comparisons, so here are a couple for you. Each roll-up is 70mm long, if you stacked up the 631 I haven’t smoked over the last 6 weeks, that would be almost as tall as the Statue of Liberty (not including the base) or almost the entire length of an Olympic sized Swimming pool!!
Since stopping smoking I have been trying to treat my body to healthier lifestyle after punishing it for all these years. Obviously stopping smoking has huge benefits to your health but I have also started to eat healthy and do a little more exercise.
So in reality, I have stopped smoking, replaced crisps, chocolate etc with fruit and go jogging a couple of times a week. I feel healthy, my lungs feel stronger and I have lost 6lbs in weight and am just generally happy about myself and my life.
I could never go back to smoking, I have just one regret... I wish I had never started smoking in the first place. Obviously there is nothing I can do to change the past, but the power is mine to chose what I do with this present moment which also shapes my future.
I hope you are all still doing well and are starting to feel good about yourselves

Thanks Teflon, do not let the price fool you. I used to pay £6 for 50g pouch of Golden Virginia. So £18 actually amounts 3 x 50g pouches. So 200 approx roll-ups per 50g pouch.
