Just thought i'd let you know that tomw is 6 weeks since i became smoke free.
I also halfed my dose of Champix by week 3 and stopped the meds altogether 10 days ago.
I have my appointment with the smoking nurse on thursday but it looks like she will sign me off as she said last time i was doing so well this might be the last time i need to see her.
I have found this programme brilliant for me and i stopped at the right time for my head to stay focused and my conscience to beat the addiction.
Good luck and well done to all that want and have stopped.

Which gives an assumption you wished to be added in my book. And if you had no wish to be part of it why did you bother? And again, if you had no wish to be added, then why did you not say so? It really is just a name. Something to identify who quit in which month. No big deal whether you are in or not, certainly not a big enough deal to devote so much time to.

In addition I am saddened by some of the remarks I have seen on this forum recently.I joined to help me quit and found an amazing support network. And thats what I bought into. Not a load of infighting and jibes and cheap laughs at other peoples expense. Think it may be time to pack my bags and exit the whole thing.
Fiona-you are part of a fabulous network of feb quitters-stick with them, people come and go and if people want to leave LET them, don't take it too seriously. I think BB and RebB were only having and 'in joke' all tongue in cheek, which actually if you read again it is quite funny.
Doesn't matter if you are a MMQ or a DFSF group-the end of the day we are all members of the bigger picture here which is a member of the NSD forum xxxx
Respectfully Shabba, and you are one of my inspirations re keeping quit, I agree to a point, But why the big who ha? I have no issue with who is 'in and out' You just say 'I would prefer not be in the sig' surely. Add in the comments dotted around other threads regarding the febs I have seen recently (and the second part of my moan was to do with that not the sig comments) and I feel irked and a little protective of all the people in the Feb group. And that makes me want to smoke. Which goes against what this forum is supposed to be all about.

I haven't being aware of comments regarding the feb possy in other threads so can't comment on that one, however, it doesn't matter Fi, what does matter is that you are doing great with not smoking (and whilst battling our addiction-we do become alittle prickly and sensitive-nowt wrong with that either)
so chin up...... you and the team are doing GREEEEEEEAAAT!!!!!
Hi Fiona, Shabba,..........some comments about the MMQ's that got my spirits down a bit too. No need for it at all. We all joined at different times, got in with our fellow quitters, made a few friends and generally enjoyed the banter. Sure it gets a bit heated in most forums at some point, but.............

I except you wanting to put this thread to bed Fiona however I would like the opportunity to defend myself and respond to the posts that have been added since i lasted logged -in.
It was never my intention to offend you Fiona or any of the Feb crew with any of my previous posts but i hasten to add that i do not believe to have posted anything with malice or derogatory towards any member or group on this forum.
This forum is a great source of support and has a sense of unity and without this it couldn't function as a positive addition to our quitting experiences.
I do believe it to be a place where we can be frank and communicate in anyway we choose to, without abusive or negative comments which others may find offensive or unkind.
I do see that the banter between myself and BB may have been miscontrued and i would like to say that as Shabba has suggested it was in jest and by no means a 'dig' at anyone on here.
