 Have been to the smoking clinic and the strength of my patches has been reduced, this is also my last months worth too, cold turkey after that. Am a tad worried, I know I have come to far to go back now, but have NEVER done it before

You will be fine dont be scared, just welcome the fact that you are smoke free and you will breeze through it. You have done the hard work honestly!

Don't worry, be happy! You've got two months under your belt and you're well prepared to be a successful quitter.

I'd say your glass is half full, not half empty. You're way ahead of where you started!

You know, you're doing just fine to date. I too quit using patches, my advice to you would be if you still don't feel ready to reduce strength then don't! Carry on for a wee while longer, you'll know yourself when the time feels right to reduce/and or stop NRT. It's not worth losing your quit for the sake of a few weeks/boxes of patches.

Thanks everyone, I do feel ready to reduce the strength, i only keep them on for about 12 hours a day anyway. Am debating sticking a piece of sellotape on my arm when the patches finish in an attempt to kid myself that i still have them haha :D

hellerscatch, I have just stopped using the patches after 10 weeks and gone CT. I have had the last 3 days of not feeling so great but have rode it out, I can honestly say that I feel that I have turned a corner today. Day 70 of quit but only day 4 of no nicotine and starting to feel alright :D
