hi i quit smoking 2months ago and i stopped drinking alcohol as well after about 2 weeks i started to feel great but this last week i feel tierd and a bit down i thought iwould feel a lot better i never use to eat chocolate but since stopping smoking i eat a lot of it i was woundering if i need to change what i eat thanks marg

Hi Marg. 2 months is a great achievement, well done.

I felt tired and out of sorts for the first couple of months, it really does take time for your body to adjust to not having smoke put into it every hour. It will start to get better soon.

Hi Marg, firstly well done on 2 months!! I agree with the others in that it just takes a little time for your body to adjust and this may manifest in tiredness or ither physical symptoms. It is also the time of year too maybe, the cold dark nights get me down anyway!!

but it will get better honest

i watched a programme about chocolate the other day which im sure was sponsered by a chocolate hate group :eek:

as

apparantly just thinking about chocolate and looking at pics of chocolate has the same effect on our brain

well thats what the results of the scan said when this woman had one done

personally the yummmy smell

the texture as you pop it into your mouth and feeling it melt

mmmmmm

that does it for me

so im not listening

Hi Marg,

Am in my 2nd month too and am still really tired in the evenings, have been going to sleep on the sofa a lot with it in the evenings!! I think it's because of my body getting used to not having the stimulant and it's probably working hard clearing out all the c*** I put into it over the years I smoked as well :eek:

It's going to be worth it in the end!!
