Same here, day 16 for me and up until 5 minutes ago when i read another post on here, i really didn't know how i was going to get trough the weekend. Now i am back on track and focussed, we can do this, i do not want to be an "addict" anymore, am going to beat it, and am sure you can too

It could be the snow. More generally, though, you can still get days of bad cravings later in your quit some time after those first few days. There are two important differences to the first days though. Firstly, they don't last as long, and the chances are they will be gone for you tomorrow. Secondly, you have experience of dealing with the craves now, and have proven to yourself that you can beat the craves.
The mistake you can make now is to let the addict thinking tell you that you will never beat the craves, that you've achieved nothing, that you will always be trapped, etc............ This is rubbish! Let the addict thinking drone on with its nonesense while remembering this: you have already done a month and that is a major achievement!!!
Hang on until tomorrow, Lois. The craves will almost certainly be gone and you will feel really good about yourself for resisting them. Also, you will feel that your quit has advanced in some way. I don't know why this is, but you just do!
Nice one!
