This forum has kept me grounded, helped me to face the facts around why smoking is such a waste of time & stopped me from using all the old excuses just to make myself feel better about starting again!

I have odd times when i feel tense & a little agitated, especially first thing in the morning, but i remind myself that it will pass if i ignore it & it does.

I also remind myself that it's not about giving anything up, it's about choosing not to do something that is a potential danger to my life.

We are all doing so well, doesn't matter if your on day 1 or 51, we have all stopped smoking....3 cheers to us lol

Trudy, you're doing so well you should be so proud

I'm a day behind you & i'm so sick of my failed attempts that this time I need to stick to it, i've wasted too many years smoking, wasting money & damaging my health :eek:

New year, new start... Still got loads of stress in my life but i'm learning to cope with it all without smoking

My thoughts exactly & if you think about it, having a fag doesn't make the stressfull situation go away or change, it actually just adds to the stress really because it's something else we dont want in our lives!

This forum is a godsend for cheering you on & for showing you that you have the ability to support others through difficult times, because we can all relate to each other.

We will do this, one day at a time

I would never have got to nearly month 4 without holding hands with my quit buddies on here.
