Oh No

So I'm at work, normal day as u say with my heavy smoking client.

His happy smoking when suddenly the urge to have a fag is so so strong I do the unthinkable and ask him for 1, of course he does the no SIAN u really don't want 1 think of all the time you've been quit etc, at 1st this seemed to keep me happy and the urge went. Phew

Well as the time went on my urges started to become horrendous again my client this time on asking said yea have 1, I looked at the fag that was sat in my fingers debating if it was worth it, but thought hey 1 won't hurt :eek: so lit it thinking of how they tasted but it wasn't it tasted vile, I took another but this time it tasted lovely :confused: I only took 2 drags and felt utter disappointed, but in the background a phone was ringing.

After it rang off and rang again that I realised.

Phew it was only a dream

I'm still a non smoker, but it felt so real ????

Phew Sian, so glad it was only a dream, that damn nicotine monster is clever and gets everywhere! I think the phone in your dream is probably your conscious mind ringing off alarm bells. Can imagine it was pretty scary when you woke up but remember you have done amazing and you are not going to fall for it - you are a non smoker!!!

Sian, I've had a few of those, the relief as you said is great when you wake up! I've had infidelity dreams that are the same. Not naughty ones, I mean ones where I am at home knowing I have done something with someone else, and I'm wondering how I will act around my wife when she gets home; they're horrible, and the relief is the same for me as the ciggy ones :eek:

I get these too. Maybe it's a way of rehearsing difficult moments so we know how to stop ourselves. I think you have been super strong to work with a heavy smoker

I've had dreams like these too, and when I awake I feel guilty as though I actually have done summit ( we obviously very strange lol )

I've had random dreams of chuffing away happily, one though was being chased by a giant fag trying to kill me.... i prefered that one really....

Found i had them after being around smokers, maybe passive smoking craziness? Oooooh its all a bit strange sometimes... teehee!!!!

I've had the smoking a fag dream quite a few times and OMG the actual relief when I have realised it was just a dream. Thank goodness yours was all a dream

Two shop assistants wafted past me in the local Co op yesterday and the stink of fags was so horrible, I NEVER want that stink on me ever again. Yuck.
