Wow!!!!

well done Fi,

6 weeks is ace news, you can be super proud of yourself for that one!

A hearty pat on the back is deserved.

The weight will come off again, concentrate on the not smoking.

I joined SW as a damage limitation and get weighed every week as an incentive, it has been good.

Big Hugs xx

Big hugs right back at you Zozie! Hope you enjoyed your hols. I expected a wee bit of weight gain, but a stone!! However, healthy eating plan and long walks with Meggie is the order of the day.

Can I have the recipes please:)

Oh Haze,

I don't do recipes, never measure but here goes!

Only requirement is a blitzer thingie!

The butternut squash soup is nil points, quite light and very filling and made in minutes. A butternut squash, 1/2 ea of red, yellow and orange pepper, large onion, seasoning. Simply boil, and blitz!

(My fav) Lentil and ham, or Pea and ham - 1 cup of lentils or split peas

Carrots, Turnip, Onions and whatever smoky bacon, lardons, ham, gammon whichever you prefer (I usually roast a small gammon)

Again, just simmer all veg, add cooked meat at end, and blitz, but not as finely as above soup, leave it chunkier.

Tattie Soup. Lots of old potatoes, 3 leeks ish, 1 onion, few carrots, seasoning, stock cube. Same idea, blitz but not too much.

Reason I do few pots all at once is cause I'm a messy, so might as well make one big one! All above freeze well too.

When I make bacon and egg pie (Dippy where are you!!) or in fact anything that involves flour, my DH will say, why, why can we not just have a bought one!!!!!!

Zozies off making soup too!
