Well, week 5 was probably my easiest week so far, and as of 10pm last night, my 5 weeks is now done, and i'm into week 6.
I went shopping in the city where i live yesterday, lovely day.. sun was shining.. street musicians and dancers were out in force, and i did notice the folk standing watching.. particularly the smokers and it made me realise that i no longer was craving them at all.. not even a bit.
Spent the evening playing on the nintendo wii and then watching a film with some wine.. all good.
So now begins week 6... may it be as easy as week 5 and here's to the many more to come.
Going to bed now, speak to everyone tomorrow.

Bet that was a nice feeling, congrats on beginning of week 6 - slowly slowly we'll all get there.
Still my local city too although I now live over in North Wales !! many a happy time spent there - used to live near Tarporley for many years - but we rurals still come over every now and then as the closest decent place for any shopping etc. - by the way I very rudely did not congratulate you - you have done brilliantly with your quit so far - well done you Peta x
You are not far at all behind, me but every bit feeling the same feeling of success so far, so well done you both also.
Lets all prove once and for all that despite the addiction perhaps having won in the past that this time will be the one and only time we need to go through all this now. If anyones struggling out there right now on their quit, just know it does get easier, and far more manageable.. just hold out against it. be as stubborn against it as a mule.. it pays off.
