Smokers Flu

Hi I gave up around 19 days ago and have had symptoms such as phlegm which has caused back pain, etc. Also had a tight chest like indigestion last week.

My main thing I'm suffering with is phlegm.

My query however - The last day or two I've had quite a sore chest/stomach, is this something others have experienced?

Hi Sam,

Nearly 3 weeks into your quit, well done! I would suggest that your sore chest is maybe down to coughing, but I would advise you to get yourself checked out by your GP. In the meantime, rest, lots of drinks, and TLC.

Sam....I think its very common to feel a lot worse before you feel better. Your body is busy getting rid of all the junk you've been sucking into it. Think of the phlegm as a good thing. Yahoo.....more phlegm out. More crap out. You're getting cleaner and healthier by the second. Even if you dont feel as though you are. That said. I cant feel your chest, stomach pain. If its too uncomfortable....then yeah.....best check that out. Keep at it Sam.
