yayyy Phew!!! getting there...I can quite happily walk up to the kiosk to get my lottery without even giving fags a second thought, despite the person in front of nearly always stinks of them lol - I can drive no problem ...no comment re: women drivers please without thinking about them .can walk in any shop that sells them and not a twitch, even a bottle of wine at home... no problem..I have still yet to brave the pub at night

However...

I have made the decision after using the 2mg mint lozenges to drop onto the 1.5 mg mini's ......reasons being they tasted nice!! and was finding myself last night and this morning eating them like sweets :eek: Not good!!!

So there is my main trigger!!!! ...(how can I word this right lol )..... I have to have something in my mouth t.....no...I have to su.....I need to .....FFS aghhhh lol

OK here we go........ the lozenges give me something to do for 15 mins to take the edge off the craving, I need the edge still taken off but breaking the habit of just eating them like sweets.... sooo the mini's only last a few seconds, taste naff so now have a stash of mint imperials to replace the lozenges....so all being well...in another week or so I will be fully off the nicotine get ready to hold me up

I did pop down the garage and get some Blackcurrant fishermans friends...certainly clears the airways haha but very nice and do help so thank you

You are doing so well.

I can relate to most of it, I'll happily go to the petrol station or newsagents and not give the fags on display a second thought. I've never smoked in my car, vehementally anti smoking where the air my children are likely to breathe.

I even refused to smoke near them. I can happily drink wine with my e cig.

I haven't spent any time around smokers yet so that will be my main struggle.

As for the lozenges, ue what you need for the time being, I'm generally going cold turkey but do use my e cig from time to time and have demolished a whole tin of celebrations this week.

I would recommend a gobstopper for you short stuff before you say anything else

I got e cig too fore' but without nicotine so it does give me a bit of summat to do without keeping me hooked! Just fruit flavoured steam. Used it on the weekend jolly to get me through!

I have been warned of sweets due to the high calories so its just sugar free gum and jaw ache for me!

I never smoked around my son either, always at the back door, nor the car unless he was away for the weekend and I had a couple of sneeky ones

Im not sure if they were banned - if they were they sure are on sale now nad the one my lad brought home 1 day was the size of a tennis ball my dad bought it for him £4.99 came in a box lol didnt keep him quiet tho, just covered everything he touched with the white powdery stuff thats between each layer as his hands were covered in it my poor black sofa :eek: lol
