So if I can do it anyone can.

From day 1 Ive kept up with u as we r on same day.... just to reassure me I was "normal" lol.... I feel same way you do, not nearly as bad as I anticipated... when I get the odd urge it lasts seconds and can honestly say not even been overly tempted as opportunity has been there.. Im still on the patches and probably will be for a while yet as dont feel psychologically ready to be parted from them lol... Its amazing how quickly even the smell off people is nauseating... The thinking constantly of smoking has reduced massively hence why I haven't posted for a few days but its good to log on to see how others are doing and maybe even some words of encouragement and support... This forum has been great for me too and got me through the first few days Im sure.... Keep going and hope to keep up wi u as we march on ...
No more patches left and as was using quarters thought might as well stop them save me buying more.Iv been so busy havnt had time to think about smoking and dont know how I found the time to smoke LOL.
As the other Carol says onwards and upwards.:D£110 saved so far.
Helsbelles you are an inspiration to us all.You always have time to answer posts even though you are a long time quitter.Im sure its because of people like you on these boards that make them so successful.....THANKYOU.
Carolrose and Karyn. You two are a pair of big smashers. Delighted for you both. Keep it up. It gets easier and easier and the benefits better and better.
you are all an inspiration. really motivates me to see how you are all doing! a big well done to all of you.
The funny thing is my partner thinks I'm doing great this time packing in. Funny thing is its been worse this time for me than anytime before. its just I don't go on about it to him as by the time I've read all your posts I'm ok again!
I'm just leaving week 2 and into week 3. woke up feeling very positive.Took a deep breath and actually got a good sense of smell today (before I seemed to only smell really weird bad smells). I'm really happy about this. I've also got a bit of a tickle in my throat. coughing up something! Not sure if it is a cold or my chest having a clear out. either way I feel happy about it. Bring on week 3 today, i feel like I am looking forward to following in your footsteps and bring on week 3! Also my cash not ash tin will have £84 in it! woo hoo!
Im like you as whenever I get a crave, but as soon as I read these stories it just disappears like magic.. It hasnt been all honey but its been so worth it and you are there with us......
Morning, I realised after I replied to u last time we werent on same day lol, close enough eh... Hope things are still going well for u ... Im NOW on day 21 lol... Still nowhere near as bad as I imagined it would be, still on patches and cant seem to let go of the inhalator for too long, mind u I only use 1 cartridge a day so its more a case of having something in my hand than anything... The one thing Im finding weird is Ive had strange dreams and most mornings Ive wakened to thinkin ive started smoking again, really vivid.. (I dont use 24 hr patch)... On the plus side my house is looking pretty tidy and clean lol... on the other side I feel the need to eat...... and eat..
Very nice, congrats!! Honestly, just toss the patch and stuff in the garbage. U can do it with out them...u are having freaky dreams cause of the patch,,,u r better off ditching everything and getting it done with,,,,,,,,
