Hi,

Ive just passed the three month mark and i hardly ever think of smoking any more. I definitely wouldnt smoke one and only get a few cravings a week now and even then they arent really bad cravings.

I swear i went through days like that too and thought, is this ever gonna get any easier?! but it def does. The craves get easier to handle and at this point i can easily dismiss them in seconds.

Good luck and stick to it best thing ive ever done and im sure you'll feel the same too xx

its the number 3! i am convinced the number 3 must represent something psychologically in the smokers mind.

for example,, Day 3 well known to be difficult, for me it was a nightmare i wanted to murder every x factor contestant there had ever been

week 3 , again hard work though not feeling i needed to commit mass murder just mild torture of x factor judges this time.

day 23 ( 3 days ago for me ) again close to going to th eshop for a fix..

ive decided to omit the number 3 in my daily weekly count , unless of course i bump into simon cowell . lets hope not

Day 28

I had a should I shouldnt I moment today in the shop (think it was about 3 oclock), recited NOPE in my head for a bit and it soon went away.

I had just gone in for a paper - weird to hand over just 50p instead of getting a tenner out to pay for the fags as well

so... tomorrow i go to uganda, where nobody smokes apart from one person who is - no WAS - my smoking buddy! i shall forget the 3 word and number and keep my fingers crossed for 10 days of smoke free happiness. please send me positive non 3 thoughts as I go into my world of NO FORUM.... yikes! let's hope i'll be back rejoicing another 10 days of smoke free living! xxx Well done everyone, we can do this and this forum is so brilliant to keep the motivation up. go go go everyone! xxx
