You count it as whatever is easiest for you, I wouldnt classify a short weekend as a fail, so if it was me subtract the three days from the length of time you have quit.
Well done for getting back on the band wagon. I havent had a blip yet but last night I was the closest I have ever been becasue hubby ex giving us grief, docs told my hubby his asthma is worse and we might have to get rid of my beautiful cats, ergh, the list goes on. If I had to give a tip on not smoking it would be that, I just kept thinking to myself, if I smoke here this problem will not be any better and I will feel guilty for smoking, so will actually feel worse.
Welcome back to the land of healthy lungs, it great to have you again.
As Jill has said i too have not blipped but start the quit how you like but i do feel that seeing as your back on the band wagon you can get away with taking those days off of your quit and continuing at week 10 1/2 if thats where you are.
Anyhow good luck hun, here's to staying on the straight and narrow and no more blips
While it is a personal choice my own opinion is that due to the short amount of time you have quit, I would consider it as a relapse if it happened to me. Mainly I quite liked MAH's consideration of how long you have given up, and how many / how long you smoke for before going nicotine free again.
In any case, day 1 or 11 weeks won't matter much once you have a full year behind you.
