10 weeks for me so nearly catching you up!!

Can't say it's been easy but can't say it's been too bad either! Still would love a fag tho', but that craving passes in minutes if you can ride it out.

That 'feeling' of wanting to smoke is what I want rid of. I know people way down the line that say that feeling of wanting to smoke has never left them - that scares me. But I suppose in the grand scheme of things it's still early days so we're doing well - REALLY WELL !!!!

hard times and bad times

Hi Jen and Juliee, yes Jen it has been difficult at moments but i have managed to get past them and i am pleased about that. I also came very close to having a fag one of the days i had rolled it but i never smoked it. Infact its still in my dressing gown pocket but i dont want it. And to juliee i agree the thought scares me as well that people i know who have quit 3years and 6years down the line still think about the fag. But then a couple of my other friends say they don't get thoughts about a fag. So it just effects us all differently i suppose. But its still scary. Well done to both of you.

To this day, if I found a ciggy I would smoke it; would like to say I wouldn't but know I would. My rules are will not buy them and will not bum them. Thank God it has worked so far. I have the willpower of a slug. I truly admire your willpower.

11 weeks is a great quit and just one more week and you will be at the quarter of a year, I always liked the sound of that better than 3 months, onwards and upwards is the only way to go and I know that sometimes the stairs can seem a little daunting but it does get easier the further up you go, reaching the Penthouse has got to give you a great big buzz so just keep focussed on that fantastic view when you get there, and of course the free drinks
