Dear All.

In to my 60 day and feel like I need a smoke to many arguments and I know that having a fag will not change anything but feel so fed up.

Terri!! No!!!!

You've done so amazingly well to do 60 days. Please don't throw all that work away. As you yourself said, smoking won't change anything and you'll probably feel worse having broken your quit.

Take it a minute at a time if necessary. Deep breaths, sip cold water, chew gum, anything except smoking. You really don't need to breathe poisonous fumes Terri!!!

Stay strong hun. You can get through this!!

You can do it!!! Do not reach for the cigs now, anything but!

All that will happen is you will feel sick for a couple of hours and lightheaded, followed by the crushing guilt of giving up your quit!

Please stay with us!

Terri,

Do you want to smoke forever?? Life is always gonna throw crap your way, if you stop quitting everytime life gets rubbish you will never be able to give up. I know from your previous post that you don't want to smoke anymore. Giving in now will do nothing but make you feel ill and really bad about yourself. On top of that all the crap will still be the same.

Stay strong through this and you can get through anything.

We are all here rooting for you. Eat, shout, chew gum whatever it takes hun just don't smoke.

Take a look at this

Gave up 13.oct 2010 by Hypnosis and cold turkey.

I have smoked for over 40 years.

As I hit 60 I really do not want to end up fighting for ever breath of air.

I want to see my grandchildren grow up.

Most of all I want to take care of MYSELF at last.

I remember one time I started again was when my Dad was dying, my sister asked why on earth I was smoking, I said it was the stress.

She said she has never smoked and she had to deal with things without a fag, and if she could so could I. Its the only thing she has ever said that stuck with me.

So Terri, as a non smoker why would you want to smoke???

Good luck luv, hope you see the day through on a positive note. Dont let the B******s get you down.

Dear All.

In to my 60 day and feel like I need a smoke to many arguments and I know that having a fag will not change anything but feel so fed up.

Hey Tell,

Am sorry to hear you are feeling this way!

Reread what you have written here and you have answered yourself that it will not change anything if you did smoke... If anything it will make you angry, because you have come a long way and are doing brilliantly.

TWO MONTH HUN TWO MONTHS!!

Stay strong, you can do this and i like what Tia has said, its so true.

Have a rant and rave on here, get all your stress out, but just don't light up, because you know as soon as you take that one puff you will regret it.

Hi Terri - so glad you didn't not give in. This monster you know creeps up on us when we least expect it and sometimes it's when we feel so positive about are quits.

You really wouldn't want to go back to day 1 now would you? Trust me you'd be beating yourself with a big stick if you did.

Keep strong and be proud of your acheivement - reward yourself!
