well done all of you: :) it has gone really... - No Smoking Day
well done all of you
Hello
Hi Ken,
Your signature does not say how long you have been quit and if you are a new member? so if you are new, then welcome to the club. I joined (stopped smoking) on 17th December 2009 after a slight health scare but you can read all of this by checking my posts. Needless to say I am near completing a year quit! not bad after 35 years of smoking about 30 a day, and I will add that I feel great.

If you go to quick links on the top right hand side, open the drop down menu and there is an option to edit signature.
hope everything is going OK with your quit.

Well done!
I haven't even gone a whole day yet. 35 years of smoking and now your almost at a year. I dunno why this shocks me so much. I always just thought that people that have smoked for that long just wouldn't be able to quit. Like my dad but tbh he hasn't tried.
But I'm trying!
So just wanted to say well done
Hi KEN it looks like someone has advised you about adding too your signature. And well done on your passed Military carer , as I believe that people like me don't get the chance to thank all the people like you ,who have did "there bit" for this Country. However it was as I suspected and you are around my age. Keep up your quit attempt and things will get easier and easier as you progress through your quit attempt and guess what I will be waiting in the Penthouse bar with a bottle of the best Single Malt Whisky that I can find (Balvenie 15/20 or 25 year old) to celebrate when you reach one year quit and join me in the Penthouse.
Wishing you all the best and keep reading and posting

You are a star
Ayan, thanks for your comments and I believe that it makes no diference if you have smoked for 35 week or 35 years you still end up addicted to the Nicodemon. I stopped CT after a slight health scare and I an now o.k. but a Doctor told me that far too many smokers only stop after they have damaged thier health. Don't let the Nicodemon do this to you, so the best of luck Ayan and read and post on this site as there are a lot of great people here who will talk and listen to you, and in most occassions they have experience anything that you might be going through.
