Hi everyone! This is my first post and my 6th day as a non smoker! Been doing great but starting to hit a bit of a wall now so thought I'd look for some support!
How is everyone else getting on this week?

Hi Lucy Loo 6 days and you are on CT I presume, the wall is ok it is climbable I promise and there will always be someone there to give you a hand and when you are sitting on the top of it you will find that the air is fresher and cleaner and you will feel so much better than you have in a long time I would guess, get plenty of water down you as this is a good detoxer as is fruit and exercise, tomorrow will be a week and they will get better as you go along, I never thought I would have the will power to quit so wasn’t intending to and here I am 6 months + and still glad I have taken the leap, keep focused and use the forum its a brilliant way to stay quit x

welcome to the forum congratualtions on your decision to quit best decision you will ever make imo ..... What method are you using ? my advise would be to read people signatures there are some great links in there to help you understand what changes you are going through during your quit both mentally and physically .... drink plenty of water or fruit juice and keep busy ..... come visit the forum regulary and lets us all know how you are getting on, have a rant , tantrum anything as long as it helps ..... wish you well during your quit , and thanks for asking i am doing just great today
CT... is that Cold Turkey? God I feel like the new kid haha! Thanks for the support guys! I taking Champix at the min which is great so far. Just think the novelty is wearing off a little now. Thanks for the well wishes tho, definately made me feel loads better!
Thanks for the tips. Going for a run tonight and will be including a fruit salad in my pack up tomorrow. I am drinking so much water at the minute! Is it normal to feel so thristy when you quit smoking? Great detox anyway!
Bradders - A place to rant will definately come in handy along the way, thanks for the support!
Jamangie - 6 months!! Wow that's fantastic, welldone! I hope I make it that far too!

Hi and welcome to the forum, all great advice above, read loads, post often. The key I believe is in educating yourself about nicotine and the different phases you will go through on your journey to freedom.
Really glad to have you on board, and I am looking forward to reading your posts as you progress.
Good luck and stay strong because it is sooo worth it.
Yes thats another thing Lucy remember that you can do the support as well doesnt matter how long your quit is it is also a realy fantastic aid to your quit, so get out there and start letting others have the benefit of you advice, stay strong xx
