I have an assignment due in on Friday for my OU course. My younger boys' school is closed for health and safety reasons (whatever that means) and I am stressed. I can't seem to gather my thoughts. I have to say I briefly considered going to buy 10 cigs. My reasoning being that it would help me think. But of course it won't. Instead of increasing my stress and abandoning my quit, I have emailed my tutor explaining things and asking for an extension. Which means the pressure has eased and I can take the boys to the park and enjoy some fresh air. Hopefully after a break, the ideas will flow.
Completely illogical: I have an assignment... - No Smoking Day
Completely illogical
Hi Ellie,
Glad you didn't go & buy those ciggies I hope now you have your extension it will releive some of the pressure on you. Have a nice day with your little boy. Think of it as a bonus for both of you
Gaynor x
Yay
So glad you didn't give in. You have come so far. I have thought about it many a time myself. Honestly the more days that go by without you smoking.. the quicker those naughty thoughts leave your head.. x
Well done for not giving in
xx
I have not smoked for 2 Months, 1 Week, 6 Days, 18 hours, 38 minutes and 23 seconds (72 days). I have saved £252.81 by not smoking 873 cigarettes. I have saved 3 Days and 45 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 03/01/2010 18:20
Thanks, Gaynor and Princess. I have been doing so well and had little in the way of craving. I suppose the cravings are going to come and go. Funnily enough part of my stress is caused by the hideous mood my OH has been in the last couple of days because of his quit. I have had my fill of his sharp tongue. I think I will leave the house and visit a friend if he starts tonight.
